Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces Campaign

Campaign progress “a testament to the dedication and faith” of supporters like YOU!

“As we celebrate the end of another summer full of retreat ministry, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible support we have received for our Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces capital campaign. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, we are making significant strides towards our goal of raising $1.5 million for the construction of a new multipurpose chapel at Camp Kinard.

The remarkable progress is a testament to the dedication and faith of supporters like you. The vision of a new chapel nestled among the pines

and overlooking our serene lake is coming closer to reality, and it’s all because of your support.

The Impact of Your Generosity

Your contributions are not just building a chapel; they are building a future where countless individuals will experience the transformative power of faith. The new chapel will serve as a sanctuary for worship, reflection, and community gatherings. It will be a place where the beauty of God’s creation meets the profound need for spiritual connection and renewal. Whether it’s the quiet moments of personal reflection or the joyous sounds of communal worship, the chapel will be a beacon of hope and a testament to the enduring power of faith and community here at these Holy Spaces.

Stories of Transformation

Consider the story of John (name changed), a teenage counselor who signed up to serve individuals with special needs at a program hosted at Camp Kinard through the SC Synod’s youth ministry. After arriving, he reluctantly shared with other leadership, saying “If I knew this was a ‘God’ camp, I wouldn’t have come.”

As the week continued, John revealed doubts and questions about his faith. Through the welcoming community and the work of the Holy Spirit, John found a renewed sense of purpose while rediscovering the love of God through others. John’s journey is just one of many transformations made possible by the generosity of donors like you. With the new chapel, we will be able to create even more life-changing experiences for individuals of all ages.
