Enjoy an Advent Adventure in Charleston, SC!

The fun starts right away as we create our own oyster shell ornaments to commemorate our time together. The joy continues on as we’ll explore the origins of Christmas though music and lessons. Next, participants will dig into the history and beauty of Boone Hall Plantation with their comprehensive Slave Dwelling chronology and a variety of Christmas decor.
The adventure continues as together, we’ll delight in one of America’s largest Festival of Lights on James Island rounding out a very full weekend of Advent Adventures. If you desire, enjoy an additional night on the Isle of Palms for only $90/per room to extend the peaceful portion of your retreat.
This is a perfect and affordable get-a-way for singles, couples, families, and small groups to come and enjoy the beauty of Charleston during ADVENT Season.

9:15am – Christmas Music through the Ages (FREE for day students!)
12:00pm – Load Van to Picnic at Charles Pinckney House ($15/day student)
1:15pm – Boone Hall Tour ($25/day student)
4:00pm – Return to Coastal Retreat & Free Time
5:45pm – Supper at Coastal Retreat ($20/day student)
6:30pm – Load Van to Circular Church in Downtown Charleston
7:00pm – Sounds of Charleston Christmas Concert ($25/day student)
9:30pm – Evening Devotion & Happy Hour (BYOB)
