Updates from Camp Kinard & Coastal Retreat

SCLRC eNews – January 2025

Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces Campaign nears $1 million mark!

As our staff and board of trustees kick-off the 2025 retreat season, we eagerly anticipate celebrating the next milestone in the Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces campaign!

Thanks to YOUR generosity, the South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers have raised $958,000+ for several key projects at Camp Kinard, including the construction of a new chapel overlooking the lakes. Your support is making a significant impact and bringing us closer to creating a sacred worship space at Camp Kinard.

We encourage you to invite others on this journey as we look to further SCLRC’s ministry of providing holy spaces for God to change lives! Help us reach the $1 Million Milestone →

Alive Again: Nourishment for Life

Are you tired of being tired?

Do you wonder how our food systems might have become so distorted and broken that local food shared by neighbors has become radical and difficult?

Are you interested in hearing about how fuel for your Soul and Spirit can inform and BE informed through God’s good food for your body?

Come together to explore the connection of Spiritual and Physical nourishment and how our lives can COME ALIVE with God’s good fuel. Utilizing Scripture and Nature hand in hand, you will leave this retreat inspired and equipped to immediately begin a shift toward a more complete life FULL OF LIFE-ING! Recipes and Scripture will be yours for the keeping, in addition to fellowship and the peaceful pristine beauty of Camp Kinard.

Come and be fed with the Living Word and life-giving foods! Register Here →
