Your creative spirit will be awakened with opportunity through game night, talent sharing, and contemplative Taize devotions to accompany the crafting projects. Thrivent Choice is a charitable grant program that allows eligible members to recommend where Thrivent Financial distributes part of its charitable outreach grant funds each year. Over the last several years, the South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers has been blessed to receive these funds that directly support ministry at Camp Kinard & Coastal Retreat.

We’re excited about many of the changes that have been going on here at Camp Kinard as part of the Building+Renewing+Believing: Holy Spaces campaign. This endeavor seeks to further ministry through the construction of a new pool (completed in February 2024!), a multi-use chapel overlooking the lake, and an updated entrance.
