Frankie San Project: Prisoner by Choice

You’re invited to join us at Camp Kinard this spring as, together, we learn about the story of Frankie San. Prisoner by Choice: The Frankie San Story is a:

“…poignant documentary that provides an in-depth exploration of the extraordinary life of Frankie San, an immigrant from Japan who fought in World War II and later became an American citizen. The documentary delves into Frankie San’s remarkable journey, from his arrival in America overlooking Alcatraz to his unexpected path towards serving in one of America’s most dangerous prisons, CCI in Columbia, South Carolina.”

Our program for the day will include devotions as well as a history lesson and discussion on both the film and life of Frankie San. Lunch is also provided in the Camp Kinard Dining Hall.

Come as an individual or bring a friend or your congregational group. We look forward to welcoming you here at Camp Kinard for this unique program!
