…People, look east and sing today, Love the Guest is on the Way!
Prepare your heart and your home by attending this Advent gathering. Add a fresh evergreen wreath to your home for the perfect festive touch this season!
We will use beautiful natural supplies from all around us in God’s lovely creation, like holly, magnolia, and pine. We will then be creating lovely wreaths to adorn our homes or to give to a friend.
Rev. Mary M. Finklea will be leading us as we learn how to create exquisite wreaths from our very own greenery.
A minimum suggested donation of $40 includes the class, lunch, and all supplies.
Individuals who have small hand pruners are invited to please bring them.
Schedule
Tuesday, December 5
10:00am – Welcome, Introductions, and Explanations
10:20am – Collect lots of greenery in bags/baskets/wheelbarrows/wagons
11:00am – Cut into 4-10 inch pieces, make bunches
12:00pm -Devotions and Lunch
12:30pm – Tie bunches to wreaths; leave when done!

Pastor Mary serves the South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers as our Community & Congregation Engagement Coordinator. This allows her to bridge the connection between SCLRC’s ministry and local congregations throughout the state.
